‘ABCD 2’ Total Worldwide Box-Office Collections Report

Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starer Indian 3D Dance movie “ABCD – Any Body Can Dance” that released yesterday on June 19, 2015, opened to packed houses and collected Rs 14 crores at the box-office.

The movie collected Rs 14.30 crores on Day one registering the highest for a 2015 Bollywood film.

“ABCD 2” surpassed the opening day collections of Akshay Kumar’s “Gabbar is Back” that earned Rs 13.05 crores on its first day.


The other top opening day collectors this year are “Dil Dhadakne Do Rs 10.53 crore, “Roy” Rs 10.40 crore and “Baby” Rs 9.30 cr.

The story of the movie revolves around Suresh (Varun Dhawan) who aspires to become a big dancer and fulfill his mother’s desire.

On the other hand, his childhood friend Vinnie (Shraddha Kapoor) wants to become the best hip-hop dancer in the country.

Both get together and form a team to participate in a national level dance competition. But they get disqualified alleging their dance moves match the source.

And everyone calls them cheaters. How these two fight back to get the world wrong is the movie all about.

It’s a must watch for Shraddha Kapoor fans as this is the movie in which she has danced the most.

Reports suggest young college crowds have been thronging the multiplexes to watch their favorite pair Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor dance throughout the movie.

The word of mouth is good, and the collections are expected to be even better during the weekends.
