Akshay Kumar’s “Rustom” movie has been declared a superhit. Producer Neeraj Pandey is happy with the success but irked with the loopholes. The movie is entertaining up to the peak but critics were unforgiving the slip-ups in the film. The film was released on 12th August 2016 and from the very first day the movie ran amazingly at box office collection. It was also Akshay Kumar’s hard work for the movie which made it a glamorous hit.
“Rustom” movie is a crime thriller movie written by Vipul K Rawal and is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai which starred Akshay Kumar and Ileana D’Cruz in the lead couple role. The film is completely based on the real life story of a Naval officer K.M. Nanavati. The film comprises of a good story and the potential of this story turned out as a great success of the movie. The film is also starring Esha Gupta, Arjun Bajwa and others in the supporting role.
The film started its premiere at theatres with a collection of Rs. 14.11 crore and followed by that the movie collected Rs. 16.43 crore on its second day of release i.e. on Saturday and the hype or peak of the collection came on its weekend release with a box office earning of Rs. 19.88 crore. The movie has now declared as a super hit and still the film is running with few shows in theatres. The film turned to become 2 highest 1-week earner of the year 2016.
