Banjo 4th Day Box Office Collection: Riteish Deshmukh’s Movie Average Business Report At First Weekend

Riteish Deshmukh’s Banjo movie is one of the most film of this year which was getting huge buzz before its release but after release response is not the same. The movie is directed by the national award winning director Ravi Jadhav who debut in Hindi film with Banjo. The movie is still struggling at box office to collect some decent amount but witnessing very low occupancy. It hit the theatres with huge hype with an expectations to earn good amount at box office but the reality is not same. The movie receiving good response mainly in Maharashtra state. It has disappointed everyone with its opening collection.

BanjoThe first day collection of the movie was Rs. 1.72 crore on Friday. The 2nd day collection was Rs. 1.95 crore at box office. A minimal growth of 13.37% shows on second day. There were many people or fans eagerly waiting for for Riteish Dekhmukh’s movie because of Riteish’s new look which impressed many people. Banjo is the solo film of Riteish after long time. He did his last solo Hindi movie in 2012 which was ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’.

The movie was released on 23rd September 2016, Friday on many big screens. Riteish Deshmukh played the main lead role in the film along with Nargis Fakhri in female lead role opposite Riteish. Dharmesh Yelande, who is known for his dancing also seen in the movie in a main role. Riteish seen in a rugged rockstar look in the movie. Nargis Fakhri played the character of a DJ. It was released with two other movies which are ‘Parched’ and ‘Days Of Tafree’ which also have a very low occupancy.

Banjo got a ‘U/A’ certificate from the Censor Board. It completed its first weekend at box office with average collection. Banjo is written by Kapil Sawant, Nikhil Mehrotra & Ravi Jadhav and produced by Krishika Lulla under the banner of Eros International. The music of the movie is composed by Vishal–Shekhar and the lyrics of all the songs written by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

The story of the movie is nice but fails to pull good number of audience. The story is based on street artist who seeks fame, success and money.
