Live Updates: Ben-Hur Movie Review Ratings Audience Response

An amazing movie with an outstanding action scene which is having the story filled with Historical action Drama and is being directed by Timur Bekmambetov and written by Keith Clarke and John Ridley. The movie is not new to many guys because it is the fifth adaptation of the very famous and admiring novel Ben-Hur: A tale of the Christ which was written by Lew Wallace and the novel has seen almost 4 movies based on the same movie till now.

The very first movie based on this story was Silent Film which was released in 1907, then 1925 Silent Film, the most successful movie of 1959 which is an award winning one and then in 2003, which is an animated movie with the same name. The movie has been reimagined, readopted and saw reinterpretation of the same story every single time. This time, the movie is starring a whole bunch of talented and amazing superstars forth movie like Jack Huston as Judah Ben-Hur:
He is playing the role of the Jewish prince in Roman-occupied Jerusalem. He is later betrayed and falsely accused of treason by his own but adopted brother Messala and is sentenced slavery for his whole life. All this has caused Ben-Hur to lose everything and his spends five years in the galley of a Roman slave ship, but this has made him to takes on the Roman Empire and avenges his adoptive brother in a grand chariot race. The biggest thing which has changed his life is christ himself who meets him in his way while going for his revenge.

The other important role is of Morgan Freeman as Sheik Ilderim:
He is a wealthy Nubian sheik who basically trains Ben-Hur to become the undefeated charioteer and also to fills him with the courage to take on his revenge from his brother.
Now comes the bad one, Toby Kebbell as Messala:
He was an officer in the Roman army and Ben-Hur’s childhood friend and adoptive brother, but his exceptional cleverness led him to who betray his brother.

The story of the beginning of this idea started from here, In 2013, when Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer acquired Keith R. Clarke’s script, which was an adaptation of Lew Wallace’s 1880 novel Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ, which is in the public domain. MGM last two projects have been so successful, which gives them the courage to try this one too.

The movie I being placed by placed among the biggest summer box office risks of 2016. The film will be released alongside War Dogs and Kubo and the Two Strings on August 19, 2016, and is tracking to gross around $15 million in its very first opening weekend, which is quite a disappointing figure considering its $100 million production cost.
