OUKITEL announced last week that they are starting a new device OUKITEL K4000 plus. As a new version for the K4000 series, K4000 plus is getting better both in design and user operation experience among the smartphones around $100.
Today we have got the first hands-on video of K4000 plus, showing the design and basic software.
OUKITEL K4000 plus features a 5 inch 2.5D HD display with 1280×720 resolution. The Touchscreen and LCD are combined together by a full-lamination tech to make the device thinner as well as enhancing the transparency of glass to display images on LCD brighter and sharp. 5 points multi-touch will enable playing games more excellent. OUKITEL K4000 plus adopts CNC crafted zinc alloy for the frame and poly-carbonated material for the battery cover, offering soft and concrete hand feel.
On the front lays a front press fingerprint sensor which can work not only for unlocking the device, but also as a button to return to the previous interface by slight tap, or return to the homepage by a single press, or check recent apps by long press.
In hardware, OUKITEL K4000 plus will get 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM with 4100mAh battery. It will be powered by MediaTek MT6737 Quad-core chipset. In software, it also offers one tap speed up, power saving mode.
If you check the power consumption rate of different items, you may find that the screen costs more power than any other process like wifi, music, web, etc. OUKITEL K4000 plus will specially optimize the screen power consumption. With a large 4100mAh battery, but low power consumption on a 5 inch HD screen, K4000 Plus will last even longer than normal a 5.5-inch smartphone with 6000mAh battery. According to OUKITEL, K4000 Plus will go to market by next week, users can get this K4000 plus quite soon.
