Clint Eastwood, the legendary American Film Director was the hottest talking topic in the Entertainment industry last year.
His movie, ‘American Sniper’ was well received by critics and audiences, and it even got six Academy Award. Now Clint Eastwood is gearing up with another biopic film which will showcase the life of pilot Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger.
Warner Bros. has officially confirmed this, and the company through a recently issued statement made it clear that Clint Eastwood will be directing and producing this untitled film.
The film will be based on Sullenberger’s 2009 memoir, “Highest Duty: My Search for What Really Matters”. The movie will showcase Sullenberger’s life till the day in which he landed an US airways plane in the Hudson river.
Sullenberger recently issued a statement and told that he is very happy to know that his story is in the hands of a gifted story teller and filmmaker.
This new movie will be produced by Frank Marshall and Allyn Stewarters. Todd Komarnicki will write the screenplay of this movie.
Expectations are sky high as Clint Eastwood is gearing up with his next film after ‘American Sniper’. In the movie, Bradley Cooper enacted the role of Chris Kyle, and the film collected made $543.4 million globally.
