Dubai aims to break its own record by building another building which will be a notch higher than Burj. Property developer Emaar made this exciting revelation this week.
Burj Khalifa in Dubai is the tallest tower in Earth with a height of 828 meters.
Mohammad Alabbar, Chairman of Emaar Group told that this new tower will cost more than $1 billion, and it will be a gift to Dubai City before 2020.
He added that the final height of this tower will be unveiled after its completion. It should be noted that Dubai will be hosting World Expo Trading Fair in 2020, and this building will be opened before that to enhance the beauty of the city.
According to Alabbar, the new structure will have 18 to 20 mixed-use floors which will host restaurants and a unique boutique hotel. Residential Units and a Rooftop Courtyard are another major highlights of this building.
Alabbar revealed that the this sky-high tower is being designed by Spanish-Swiss neo-futuristic architect Santiago Calatrava Valls. Emaar’s chairman called this new construction as an ‘elegant monument’ which will take the fame of Dubai to new heights.
Burj Khalifa was opened in 2010, and it literally gave a WOW feeling to people all over the world. Now, as Emaar group gears up with the new one, it will be a real treat for people who visit this dream city.
