An update about the earthquake in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh had come in front. The area had been hit by a 3.3 magnitude earthquake on Thursday. There are no such updates had come about the loss of property and live in the area. There is no such updates had come about the damage in that area as well. Connected to the same some low- intensity tremors was felt near Mandi and Shimla so far.
The epicentre of the earthquake was recorded in the Kullu district. After the calculations made by the centres about the quake, the reporters had not found loses in the area. “A tremor of 3.3 magnitudes on the Richter scale, with a depth of 10 Kms, has been recorded in Kullu District,” said Manmohan Singh from the Meteorological department.
He also tells that the impact of the low magnitude earthquake had been seen at the areas of neighbouring districts to Kullu. He also tells that no loss of life and property made by the earthquake. An official statement was also issued by the MeT department about the same. Such earthquakes had faced before in the hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh.
Before this, a mock exercise was also organised by the security channels at some districts such as Shimla, Kangra, Mandi Chamba, Kinnaur, Kullu and Solan on 24th November 2016, to make the people aware of such disasters.
