The Taiwanese consumer electronics company, HTC is planning to launch the new flagship handset under its desire series in India – Desire 728 Ultra. It is the successor of Desire 728 Dual which was launched in January 2016. The newest addition to Desire series 728 Ultra was recently listed on the company’s official website with all its features and specifications. But on 13th August, the handset was unofficially sold via e-store Bhatia’s Mobile in India with a price tag of Rs 15,699.
In terms of Specifications, The HTC Desire 728 Ultra Smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD IPS 720 x 1280 pixels resolution display. It is powered by 1.5 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor which is paired with 3GB of RAM. the Handset supports Dual-SIM and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS that can be upgrade-able later to 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with HTC Sense UI on the Top.
The Handset is equipped with a 32 GB of internal storage that can be Expandable later up to 2 TB Via micro SD card slot. It sports a 13-megapixel Primary auto-focus rear camera with BSI sensor, LED flash. It also sports a 5-megapixel Secondary front-facing camera with BSI sensor on board for better selfies and Video calling. The Handset is available only in Cappucino Brown colors and features with HTC BoomSound with Dolby Audio sound technology.
In terms of connectivity, the device offers dual SIM, 2G/3G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS with satellite navigation, WiFi, FM, 3.5 mm audio jack and a micro USB port. It measures 15.79 x 7.78 x 0.78 cm and weighs 153 grams. No official details regarding its launch has been announced by the company. But we expect HTC to launch the handset officially soon.
