Dhoni said after winning the toss, and the changes to the squad are made considering the due factor, he said; “It’s a good wicket, reports are that dew won’t set in before 8.30.

“We have got plenty of changes. Looking at the composition, we had to make these changes. Spin has been our strength, especially in these conditions. Fast bowlers were also good.

“On this ground, we felt it was good to have three fast bowlers. We have the confidence, at times, results don’t go in our favour.”

South Africa skipper de Villiers too wanted to bat first; he thinks that there is the swing in the air, and he wants his Pacers to take advantage of it.
