Today is a big day for the students who had appeared for the IIT Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2015 as the scores are revealed.
To check the scores, log on to www.jeemain.nic.in. To determine admission, both the marks of Class 12 Board (40% weight age) and JEE (60% weight age) are taken into consideration.
Out of the 124,741 students that appeared for the exams, 26,456 have passed. 117,238 students gave the exams of both paper 1 and 2.
23,407 boys and 3,049 girl students have been declared passed.

Satvat Jagwani Madhya Pradesh topped the exam with a score of 469 marks out of 504. Janak Agrawal and Mukesh Pareekh from Indore scored the second and third position.
The marks scored in JEE (Main) are also required for eligibility for the JEE (Advanced) course. After passing the JEE exam, the candidates become eligible to enroll in several undergraduate courses available a the 13 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian School of Mines Dhanbad.
Along with the scores, the candidates can also see the list of candidates who are eligible for JEE Advanced Exam for IITs scheduled for June 2.

The JEE Main examination was conducted to seek eligible candidates for getting admission at the National Institutes of Technology (NIT) and the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT) and some deemed universities.
