Madonna and Stevie Wonder Pays Tribute To Prince At The Bill Board Awards

Madonna and Stevie Wonder paid tribute to late pop star ‘Prince’ at the Bill Board Awards night on May 22, 2016. The emotional tribute was so heart touching in nature, and it literally pulled the audiences to a state of tears. During the event, Madonna performed Prince’s hit number “Nothing compares 2 u”.

At this juncture, readers should understand that Prince who tragically died at the age of 57 had received Bill Board’s Icon Award on 2013.

Madonna looked really stunning during the show, and she was seen sporting lavender suit and ruffled blouse. The performance was welcomed warmly by the viewers, and after the show, spectators thanked the “Material Girl”singer for remembering the deceased legend during the auspicious event.

Earlier, several criticisms arose from the side of Prince’s fans, and they even filed online petition against “Like A Virgin” singer stating that she should not be the only artist paying respect to Prince.

Later, show’s Executive Producer told that it is their privilege to make the 57-year-old singer performing for Prince’s memory on stage. He also added that the Bill-Board Award night is dedicated in giving utmost respect to the legendary personality who mesmerized music lovers throughout his life.

In 1980’s Prince has worked along with Madonna in “Love Song”, a track from “Like A Prayer”. The collaboration made them good friends, and they shared a very good rapport in real life.

Some days back, Beyonce and Mariah Carey had also paid honor to the deceased icon. Even after death, the legendary star still lives in the minds of his fans and well wishers.

Prince died on April April 21, 2016. He was found dead in his Minnesota home, and was aged 57.
