The game is mostly loved by not any single country or by state, but it is loved by the whole world. The soccer has his roots into very deep into the history. The starting of the soccer is basically from Soccer in the United States is governed by the United States Soccer Federation, it is commonly known as U.S. Soccer. The organization is responsible for governing the most levels of soccer in the country, including the national teams, professional leagues, and the amateur game.

This is basically a very big motivation for those over 13 million Americans who are playing soccer in the United States, soccer is the third most played team sport in the U.S.. This is a tournament which is known as Major League Soccer (MLS) which is a men’s professional soccer league. It is sanctioned by U.S. Soccer It represents the sport’s highest level in both the United States and Canada. The MLS constitutes one of the major professional sports leagues of the US and Canada. 

The league is basically composed of 20 teams in which 17 is in the U.S. and the rest 3 in Canada. The MLS regular season runs from March to October, with each team playing 34 games in the team. The winner who is with the best record is awarded the Supporters’ Shield. The post season includes twelve teams competing in the MLS Cup Playoffs through November and December. 

The Major League Soccer was first founded in 1993 as the part of United States’ it was successful bid to host the 1994 FIFA World Cup. The first season was happened in 1996 with nearly ten teams. The MLS experienced financial and operational struggles in its very first few years: The league lost millions of dollars, teams played in mostly empty American football stadiums, and two teams folded in 2002. Since then, it has expanded to 20 teams, The owners built the soccer-specific stadiums.
