OUKITEL C5 Released: Cheapest 3G smartphone with Android 7.0 OS & anti-smash screen

OUKITEL already launched the 4G smartphone C5 Pro with the anti-smash screen, now it’s 3G version C5 is coming.

Comparing to C5 Pro, there are only 2 differences between them. First, the C5 PRO runs on Android 6.0 for the first several batches and will update to Android 7.0 soon in March while the C5 will get Android 7.0 from beginning. Second, For the hardware, C5 Pro gets a 4G chipset by MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor, while the C5 will feature a 3G chipset by MediaTek MT6580 quad-core chipset.

C5 employs the same design as C5 Pro to be tough and special. It gets a 5.0 inch HD display with 720 x 1280 resolution and 2.5D curved edge. The screen is especially touched to be anti-smash and tougher than another ordinary screen as it can be used to knock walnuts and even knock nails into wood. For the back, they are of same texture print which is also specially designed. The frame is adopting aluminum metal alloy which is more likely seeing on pricey flagship phones than on the affordable device.

OUKITEL C5 supports dual SIM card slots and extra TF card slot, a removable 2000mAh battery, an 8.0MP primary camera (interpolation ) and a 5.0MP front-facing camera(interpolation). It carries MT6580 quad-core chipset with 1.3GHz CPU and 2GB RAM plus 16GB ROM. Together with the optimized Android 7.0 Nougat OS, it will surely run smoothly and effectively.
