PHICOMM, the Chinese smartphone makers who entered the Indian market by launching their flagship product ‘Passion 660’ is planning to take things further as the Company aims to invest more than 100 million USD in India in the coming three years.
The company will spend this amount to build a local team, Research and Development crew and moreover on marketing.
Phicomm CEO Min Zheng confirmed this news, and he told that Indian market has something big to offer for the company.
The Company is also reportedly trying to create a manufacturing base in India. However, an official confirmation on this regard is yet to come.
As per Min Zheng, the company is trying to create an impact in the minds of youngsters in the country, and they are aiming to grab five percent of India’s mobile market by the end of 2020.
Zheng added that the company has got IT, manufacturing and design, everything in-house, and these factors allow them to make unique handsets which will meet the users tailor made needs.
This year, the company aims to unleash three or four mid ranged smartphones with a price ranging from 200 – 300 USD. Zheng is quite confident about PHICOMM’s future in the Indian market.

He guarantees that the phones from PHICOMM are impeccable, and it will have that unique style and features which will satisfy Indian users.
The Smartphone which got launched yesterday, ‘Passion 660’ is being priced at 10,999 INR. This mobile phone will be available in Amazon from June 9, 2015.
