The movie which is featuring Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam as the lead actors and with their performance on-screen and duo on platform. The makers have decided this duo after watching their role in the Sanam re which is also an amazing movie and counters enough good collection over the box-office.
The making of the movie was started in the early Novembers in 2014 inside the beautiful Kashmir valley and is being followed by Amritsar. The second schedule of the shoot started in the month of March in Patiala, Chail and in moderately warm Shimla. Some parts of the movie was shot in Sonamarg,an alpine valley is situated at the bank of Nallah Sindh, 87 km north-east from Srinagar.

The cast and crew of Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam starrer ‘Junooniyat’ were supposed to shoot for a song sequence in Mumbai but had to drop their plans at last moment as the director wanted to get the perfect flavor because the movie is based on Punjab. Later, the song was shot on actual locations in Punjab.
Pulkit Samrat had to choose this movie over his honeymoon because he had to spend time with Army officers as filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri wanted him to spend five days in Mau before they started shooting, to learn the body language and manners of army officers so that Pulkit could be into the character of an Army officer, which he played in the movie.
A horrifying incident happened when the crew was returning from Kashmir, they were apparently hounded and assaulted byKashmiri locals for using native girls in a song sequence. The movie has collected around 21 crore since its first week and amazes the Bollywood. The movie is still going on in many theaters and is being liked by many audience who likes to watch a love story with many twists both natural and decided by them for their relationship. This duo of Pulkit and Yami will further be seen in many movie if the movie makers like their acting on-screen.
