Sairat is one of the amazing and hit movie of Marathi film industry. The film made the whole Marathi film industry proud as the film entered in Rs. 100 Cr. club. The film made a bulk of achievements like it captured lacs rather I must say crores of positive reviews. The film captured a rating of 4.5 stars which shows that the movie is an awesome one.
Sairat is a movie which released in Marathi language on 29th April 2016 and its been more than 1.5 month for the release of the movie but still it is moving slowly on box office collections. Sairat is a romantic film. From a distance it seems that the movie comprises of a common story in which a low caste boy loves daughter of his high caste landlord but the twists and turns which came to their life which made them to leave the city were awesome.
The film is directed by Nagraj Manjule and is produced by Nagraj Manjule, Nitin Keni, and Nikhil Sane with the banner of Aatpat Production, Zee Studios. The film was not just praised by Marathi stars rather Bollywood stars also praised the movie. Irrfan Khan said that movie like Sairat can compete with Hollywood movies. Ritesh Deshmukh, Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor and many more gave too much positive reviews to the film.
The whole audience enjoyed the film. Keeping the success of the movie in mind the makers decided to remake the movie in many laguages like Hindi, Gujrati, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and others. The movie now shattered the record of Shah Rukh Khan’s best release of year 2016 i.e. Fan.
Film Sairat grabbed a collection of more than 100 Cr. till date and still the movie is growing at box office collection. The film showcased Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar in the lead role and the whole story of the movie revolves around their love and the consequences which comes in between to make it acceptable to everyone.
The film marked a collection of more than Rs. 50 Cr in just two weeks of its release. On its opening day or first day of release, the film collected around Rs. 3.60 Cr. But with the passage of time it collected Rs. 3.95 Cr. on its second day, Rs. 4.55 Cr. on its third day and moved ahead by collecting Rs. 25.5 Cr. on completion of its first week.
