Indian bhangra and singer Labh Janjua was found dead at his residence in Mumbai today, October 22, 2015.
The Police are yet to determine if its suicide or natural death. Janjua’s body was first seen by his friend at his Goregaon residence and was taken to the Cooper Hospital.
Police inspector Santosh Bhandari issued a statement and said: “He was found unconscious on his bed.
“We do not suspect any foul play. However, the post-mortem report will give a clear picture. Probe is on to find out whether there is anything wrong,”
Janjua had just returned India from a world tour only three days ago.
His friend Jugnu informed the media that yesterday he took him to a hospital because he was sick and in the morning Janjua’s wife who stays in Punjab gave him call saying he was not picking up calls.

Jugnu said, “I received a message from the residents informing about something wrong with Labh.
“I rushed to his flat along with the building chairman and called the police.
“In presence of the cops, we called locksmith who made duplicate keys to open the flat and found him unconscious in the 1BHK rental flat.”
Janjua is popular for his superhit songs like “Jee Karda” that he song for Akshay Kumar’s Hindi movie “Singh is Kinng”.

Labh Janjua’s funeral will be held in Mumbai on Thursday and many celebrities are expected to attend.
‘Dance Pe Chance’ from “Rabb Ne Mila Di Jodi”, ‘Soni De Nakhre’ from “Partner” and ‘London Thumka’ from Kangana Ranaut’s hit film Queen were some of his memorable songs.
