Sonakshi Sinha Starrer Akira 9th Day Collection Total Earnings Report On Box Office


Akira is one of the most awaited movie of Sonakshi Sinha which got huge hype on its release. The movie started its journey with a huge bang. After decent earnings on first weekend, the collection of the film kept declining since Monday. The movie was released on 2nd September 2016, Friday on many big screens and got positive response from the audience. The movie crossed the collection of Rs. 25 crore and it is expected to get the mark of Rs. 50 Crore in upcoming days. This film is one of the best movie of Sonakshi Sinha which made her proud and got great positive response and reviews from fans and audience.


Akira is the first action thriller movie of Sonakshi Sinha in which she played a main lead role of a rowdy character first time. Now the movie getting huge competition from the latest release big movies ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ and ‘Freaky Ali’which surely affect the collection of Akira on the box office. The Sonakshi Sinha starrer is quite impressive and liked by large number of audience. The first day box office collection of the movie was Rs. 5.51 crore on Friday. Akira did decent earnings on opening weekend. Akira completed its 8 days on box office and getting positive comments from the audience.

At the end of the first weekend, movie total collection was Rs. 16.65 crore in India. Sonakshi did many movies but Akira is different from her other movies as there is no male lead role in the film. Anurag Kashyap also seen in the movie in a vital role. This movie is a remake of Tamil 2011 film Mouna Guru.

The film is written by Karan Singh Rathore. It is directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by AR Murugadoss under the banner of Fox Star Studios. The director of the movie presented the film in a very nice way which makes everyone to attract towards this movie.
