The commission had previously released a notification for the posts of SSC CPO SI 2016. The ad will release about the recruitment and had declared about the written test to be scheduled later. The syllabus and examination pattern had been declared by the commission as well.

Those who are looking for the job in govt. sector gets the best opportunity by qualifying the exam conducted by the commission. Many students apply for the exams every year. This year also candidates had applied for the exam in bulk. Students can now download their admit card from the official website too. Students will get to know about their centre and date of exams by that. The rules are also mentioned for the students on the admit card. Students without admit card will not allow entering in the examination hall.
SSC gives notification about the vacancies in govt. authorities for those who gets qualify in the exam. There are many procedures was conducted by the commission. For the post of CPO, SI students will also have to appear for physical test after qualifying the written test. Students who had completed their graduation was able to apply for this post. The commission had also notified about the age limit for the candidates. Candidates between an age of 20-25 years were able to apply for this post.
There is notification about the written exam as well. The written exam will be of Objective Multiple Choice. Duration for the exam will be two hours. Students are guided to reach their exam centre 15 minuted before the exam. They need to carry their admit card with them. There is also negative marking scheme for the wrong answer which will be 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
