Supreme Court of India regulates theatres to play National Anthem before movies

A great had step had now taken by the Supreme Court of India that now all the cinema halls will play National Anthem before the screening of every movie. The regulations notify by the courts on Wednesday and hence give 10 days to all theatres for the application of the same. Accompanying this the Supreme court had also issued the rules, which include screening the national flag on the screen while playing the National Anthem.

The regulation made by the court to regulate the devotion and respect for towards the National Flag and nation as well in people’s heart. This step comes in front to get a sense of patriotism and nationalism in people’s heart. The court also says that the people should need to respect to their National Flag and National Anthem. The rule is to generate the respect in people’s heart and especially in the youth.

The court also regulates the theatres for attempting the practice which must be accepted by all the theatres withing 10 days. The court had also told that all the people in the theatre should be stand in respect of National Anthem and National Flag.

The court had also ruled the theatres, that it cannot modify the national anthem and can’t use any commercial with it. The petition about the same was filled by Shyam Narayan Chouski, who is an owner of NGO at Bhopal.
