Tata Tiago Hikes Its Price From Rs 6,000-8,000 Due To Abundance Of Demand In India

Tata Tiago, the most successful model among the top models of the Tata Motors in recent times. Price of the hatchback, Tiago was recently hiked by the Tata Motors almost after four month of its launch. The company has received around 40,000 bookings from the time of launch till date. The price of the hatchback was officially revised by Tata Motors and hiked in the range from Rs 6,000- Rs 8,000. As the company also claimed that the hike was actually not a sudden one because the company has already reported on the Tata official portal that it is being likely to revise the Tiago’s introductory pricing.

However, the introductory pricing offered by the company was Rs 3.39 lakhs for the petrol variant and Rs 5.84 lakh for the diesel top variant. Tata Tiago price – Tata Tiago base variant (XB) is an exception for the first hatchback which will bear a new design impact of the company now prices hike between Rs 6000 and Rs 8000. However, the new prices will be applicable on the XM, XE, XT and XZ variants. As it received 40K bookings at the company thought to increase it’s price at a time. To recall, the Tata Tiago diesel engine produces 69bhp of power at 4,000rpm and 140Nm of torque at 1,800-3,000rpm while the petrol mill churns out 83.8bhp of power at 6,000rpm and 114Nm of torque at 3,500rpm as the engines are mated with the five-speed manual gearbox.
