Tesla ‘Model 3’ priced at $35,000 to be released in 2017

A decade-long wait is over, as ‘Tesla Motors’ announced their new car ‘Model 3′ on March 31, 2016. The grand launch event was carried out at Tesla’s Design Studio in Hawthorne, California.

The car is at $35,000, and it is expected to deliver at least 215 miles of range. During the time of launch, Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Motors told that he is pretty confident of delivering the vehicles by 2017.

The cars will be first provided to people in West Coast of North America, which will be soon accompanied by East Coast and overseas buyers. The demand of Model 3 is increasing day by day, and the company aims to manufacture 5,00,000 vehicles annually.

Elon also added that people will not be able to buy a better one for this price range. The young businessman claimed that this would be one of the fastest vehicles under the globe.

The base model of this carrier will travel from 0 – 60 mph in less than six seconds. The range which is being promised now is 215 miles, and experts believe that it will increase in the final car.

Tesla’s high-speed supercharging network is being used to enhance the comfort of users. The company believes that more than 7200 superchargers will be available by 2017.

Earlier, Elon Musk has revealed that ‘Model 3’ will popularize electric cars among people. The status of pre-order booking clearly indicates that this car is going to be a hit in the automobile sector.

As per latest updates, more than 1,30,000 orders have been placed, and buyers need to put down $1000 for booking.

Elon during post launch talk told that the company has tried their best to enhance comfort quotient. Five passengers can sit and travel in this car.

The current Tesla vehicles that are available on the market are priced all above $1,00,000, and with the introduction of Model 3, they aim a sales revolution.
