Comic-con International is going to held from Wednesday, 20th July, 2016 to Sunday, 24thJuly, 2016. Badge holders, plus professionals and press can only attend the preview night.

Now moving to the schedule of preview night. She event will start on Wednesday, 20th July, 2016 from 4 pm onward.

Teaching with comics: An Interactive Workshop for Educators

This workshop will be led by Peter Carlson (Green Dot Public School), Antero Garcia (Colorado State University) and Susan Kirtley (Portland State University). They will lead this workshop integrating comic books in your K-12 classrooms. The event is open to teachers of all subjects. The Session includes many interactive activities and approaches in which comic books can be align with the curriculum. Current classroom educators Samantha Diego, James Kelley and Jenn Anya Prosser will address the various learning needs of students in their classroom.

Special Sneak Peek Pilot Screenings

As the tradition follows of Preview Night, Comic Con and Warner Bros. Television will Premiere their pilot episodes of five most highly anticipated series of the year 2016-2017. Five series whose pilot will premiere worldwide are Riverdale, Powerless, People of Earth, Frequency and Time After Time. Along with the screening of five pilot there will also be a new episode of Teen Titans Go!

  1. Riverdale
    Riverdale is based on the characters from the Archie Comics and is produced by Berlanti Productions. Berlanti Production is the same which produced shows like The Flash, Supergirl, Blindspot, Everwood, Supergirl. Riverdale is going to be one-hour drama revolving around the surreality of a small-town life. Riverdale may look quiet and sleepy town but there are dangers in the shadows. Riverdale will premiere on The CW this midseason.
  2. Powerless
    It is a superhero’s world. A world which Superheroes and Super villains treats like their personal battleground. Powerless is the story of Emily (Vanessa Hudgens), an insurance adjuster. She takes care of insurance need of every regular people who are affected by the damaged caused by Superheroes and Super villains. Emily and her workers does not have superpower but they want to make a difference in people’s lives. And you don’t need Superpowers to be powerful. From Warner Bros. Television, Powerless is going to premiere this mid-season on NBC.
  3. People of Earth
    People of Earth is a half-hour single camera comedy series about the people who were abducted by the aliens. The Show revolves around the journalist Ozzie Graham (Wyatt Cenac) who is investigating the alien stories. The more he learns about the story, more he learn the truth into their stories and also got abducted by the aliens. People of Earth is Produced by Conaco LLC in association with Warner Horizon Television. People of Earth is going to premiere this fall on TBS.
  4. Frequency
    Frequency is the story of a father and a daughter who met after the 20 years of her father’s death after supernatural events. Detective Raimy Sullivan was only 7 years old when her father left her family which led in the family breakup. But after 20 years she came to know something which can change the course of history. Warner Bros. Television’s Frequency will air this fall on The CW at Wednesdays 9/8c.
  5. Time After Time
    Time After Time shows the epic chronicles of H.G. Wells. H.G. Wells is 28 years old and is yet to publish any of his since fiction novels. But his ideas led him to creating an actual time machine. Time After Time gives a spin to the mythology of H.G. Wells by looking the today’s world with the eyes of yesterday. Time After Time going to premiere this mid-season on ABC.
  6. Teen Titans Go!
    The Teen Titans are back with the new adventures both in and outside the Titan Tower. Teen Titans Go is based on the DC characters and produced by Warner Bros. Animation. Teen Titans Go! Going to air on Cartoon Network, Thursdays at 6/5c.
