The Rock teams up with Director Shane to bring the world’s first superhero

Rumors have been surfacing over months and there have various social media teases but finally, The Rock has revealed that he is going to bring back the world’s first superhero in a collaboration with the Director Shane Black.

Apparently, Dwayne Johnson’s Instagram post revealed that he is going to portray Doc Savage under Shane Black’s direction.

In 2013, there was an announcement regarding the film adaptation of Doc Savage but for some reasons, it never took off as it was supposed to.

However, with The Rock and the director of “Iron Man 3,” things will pan out as they should and all the fans of Dwayne Johnson now have something to look forward to

Even though the details have not been let out, Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Insta’ post has revealed a little about the character. His Instagram post read, “Here’s the #1 reason I am excited to become Doc Savage… HE’S A F*CKING HILARIOUS WEIRDO!”

Now, coming from 1930’s, Doc Savage is a classic pulp fiction comic hero. He has been enabled by the scientists to have superhuman abilities and strength. His mental abilities are out of control and his character is not limitedly endowed with a single superpower.

Talking about the character, Rock’s Instagram post also mentioned that, “His heightened senses are beyond comprehension and He can identify a woman’s perfume from half a mile away.”
He also mentioned about the different elements of Doc Savage which are widely recognised as attributes of superman. “First name Clark, called ‘Man of Bronze’, retreats to his ‘fortress of solitude’ in the Arctic, etc., etc.,” he writes.

By now, there is no info regarding the release date as The Rock is busy working with the Director for working out the story.
