Thodari 3rd Day Collection: Dhanush Starrer Opened With Decent Amount At Box Office


One of the most awaited Tamil movie Thodari hit the theatres with huge hype with an expectation to earn good amount at box office. The movie opened with decent collection at Tamil Nadu box office. The first day collection of the movie was Rs. 4.32 crore in TN box office on Thursday. The movie receives impressive response from the audience and fans. Vikram’s Iru Mugan beat Dhanush’s Thodari on first day as its opening day collection was Rs. 5.25 crore. The movie receives mixed reviews from the critics.

ThodariThodari movie was released on 22nd September 2016, Thursday on big screens and got the benefit of four days on its first weekend because of Thursday release. Dhanush played the main lead role in the movie and did great work with his character. Keerthy Suresh played the female lead role in the movie. The movie is co-produced, written and directed by Prabhu Solomon. It is produced by T. G. Thiyagarajan, Sendhil Thiyagarajan, Arjun Thiyagarajan & Prabhu Solomon under the banner of Sathya Jyothi Films. The music of the movie is composed by D. Imman.

The reason behind the low collection of the movie is that it didn’t release in Karnataka because of Cauvery dispute and also delayed in Andhra Pradesh due to heavy rain. This definitely affected the collection of the movie. The opening day collection of Thodari was impressive as no other movie released on this Thursday. This romantic thriller film is filled with suspense and action. The movie has total 7 songs from which most of the songs like by the audience. It is expected that the movie will cross Rs. 15 crore at box office on its first weekend.

The story of the movie revolves around Poochiappan whose character is being played by Dhanush and Saroja whose character is being played by Keerthi fall in love with each other on a Train journey. The movie also gives a shocking surprise at the end of the story. Today is the third day of the movie and it still getting great response from the audience.
