November 13, 2015, is considered as a black day in the history of France, as it marked the death of 137 people due to serial explosions in and around Paris. Now, a video has surfaced on the internet, and it features the bomber blew up his explosive belts from a Paris restaurant. The video was uploaded to YouTube on April 25, 2016, by a channel named ‘Popular Videos Online’.
The suicide bomber in the video has been identified as Brahim Abdeslam. The 31-year-old terrorist was seen at Compair Voltaire before he blew up himself on the fateful Friday evening.
Brahim reached the restaurant in a car, and then he walked to an empty table and soon detonated himself. The video shows Brahim’s body being split into two halves during the time of the explosion. Onlookers in the restaurant escaped with minor injuries. Within no time, smoke gulped the whole restaurant.
Brahim Abdeslam is the younger brother of terrorist kingpin Salah Abdeslam, who was recently arrested in Brussels. After the blast, investigators were only able to find a finger of Brahim to confirm his identity, as his remaining body parts were shattered.
The attacks happened in France during the time when the country had been on high alert for terrorism due to the Charlie Hebdo shooting. 89 people died at the Bataclan Theatre which was the primary target of terrorists, as it is a common visiting place of Israelis.
Seven militants took part in the Paris attack, and all of them died on that day. Later, Islamic State claimed the responsibility of this dreaded incident.
