On Thursday, a girl looking for an autograph of actor Nicolas Cage was attached by Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil at a Las Vegas hotel.

The fan of Cage told the police that Neil grabbed her by the hair, when she was asking for an autograph of Cage, the star of the films “National Treasure” and “Leaving Las Vegas.”

Neil could face misdemeanor battery charge.

A video posted on celebrity website TMZ showed Cage grabbing Neil around the neck while restraining him and shouting, “Stop this.”

Las Vegas police did not disclose the woman’s name.

In her complain, the woman cited Neil for misdemeanor battery. If convicted, Neil faces a maximum sentence of six months in jail.

Neil, the 55-year-old rock star known for a number of 1980s hit songs, was arrested and convicted in 2010 for drunk driving. In 2011, he was accused of jabbing his ex-girlfriend at a theater and was charged with battery and disorderly conduct. But he paid $1,000 fine in that case because he only pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct.

It was not immediately clear what Cage and Neil were doing at the hotel.
