As you know there are many different types of diets including Atkins diet, vegetarian diet, vegan diet, raw food diet, Mediterranean diet etc. But the question remains the same, which diet is suitable and right for you? You should be very careful about the diet you choose for yourself to keep your body healthy and fit. You should also which diet is suitable for you and which is harmful to your body.
An assistant Professor of Nutrition and Dietetics of St. Louis University, Rabia Rahman said, “If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.”
She added, “If they’re asking for a lot of money (for items other than food products), don’t do it. If they say you can eat as much as you want and still lose weight? Bogus.”
Rabia Rahman said that there are some diets which sound scientific but worthless and even harmful for our body which consequence could be dangerous for health. There are many diets based on scientific terms but it’s not a necessary that all these diets are scientific and fit for the body.
According to Rahman, to maintain a balance in the diet is the most healthy way to lose weight as well as it’s an only successful way to reduce the weight, all you need is just to strive for balance.
Weight loss and weight put on are all depend on which kind of the diet you are taking and how you engaged with other activities like exercise and yoga. Your weight will remain the same if the quantity of calories you consume is equal to the quantity of calories you burnt by workout and exercise. There is a simple formula for weight loss, if the quantity of calories you consume is less than the quantity of calories you burn, your weight will simply reduce.
Rahman said, “There is really nothing that you should consider bad or off-limits completely. If you want to have dessert, have dessert, but have a small portion.”
Rahman suggests Weight Watchers diet that simply works on the smart points value and replaces it with point-plus diet. Ellen Abramson, the Leader/Ambassador of St. Louis Weight watchers said, the firm helps its customers in weight loss as well as in to keep it off.
In Weight Watchers diet calories are divided into points, where components like sugar and saturated fat increase good and smart points while components like protein reduce the smart points.
The person who takes this diet is given a set target of points for each day, depending on persons’ height, weight, s*x, and age, Ellen Abramson said.
According to Abramson, “If it’s Christmas and your aunt makes the best pecan pie ever, you can have it. But you have to have less of everything else. It’s called mindful eating. If I’m going to have pecan pie, I maybe will not have mashed potatoes.”
Interestingly, the Weight Watchers diet includes the recipes of Chocolate Marshmallow Fudge, Tex-Mex Casserole/Mexican Casserole, Hoppin’ John With Shrimp, Honey-Glazed Salmon With Wasabi and Baked Spicy French Fries.
You can add these items to your Weight Watchers diet to make it tastier.
