The mysterious and terrible news story came in front of all on Sunday in West Virginia. The tourists got to see the mysterious and horrifying scene where a lady was dragging the dead body into woods.

The couple who came to West Virginia from New York in order to attend the bluegrass festival has been terrified to see the woman dragged the limb body wrapped with blanket into roadside of the hills.

The frightened and shocked tourists called the police around 11:20 a.m. After receiving a phone call from the shocked tourist, West Virginia State Police visited the crime scene which is near the border of Virginia.

State Police said, they soon caught the 37-year-old suspected woman named Erica Newsome. Police found her along with the dead body around 150 feet away from an old road.

The dead body which was dragged by Newsome was of her 11-year-old daughter named Kaye-lea Plummer, State Police confirmed.

The authorities have not revealed the cause of Kaye-lea’s death and it remains a mystery for all. However, Newsome has been arrested by the cops. She has been charged with concealing the dead body of her own daughter.

State Police Sgt. Herby Barlow told the Pocahontas Times, “It was obvious that the 11-year-old did not die from injuries from the accident.” Barlow said, “Her injuries were non-motor vehicle injuries.”

According to the cops, Newsome told the cops that she picked Kaye-lea from home on 4th August and put Kaye-lea in her truck.

Newsome told the cops that her daughter Kaye-lea did not eat and drink anything, she did not use the restroom and did not even move for two days during the drive.

Newsome’s estranged husband and Kaye-lea’s father lives in Buffalo, New York. State Police have not revealed any final statement and determination regarding this case.

State Police Sgt. Barlow said, “It is still a very active investigation.”
