The U.S. Department Treasury is still reviewing a range of options for the redesigning of $10 bill.
On Friday, the Department announced that it is delaying its $10 bill redesign. People are waiting to see new design on paper currency, on which Alexander Hamilton’s portrait will be replaced by a woman.
But it is still unclear who will be become first American woman on paper currency for the first time in over 100 years. The new design is expected to be released sometime in 2016.
According to the Treasury, the delay will allow officials to “carefully review and consider a range of options” for a design and portrait.
