The biggest Darting event on the  British Darts Organisation (BDO) calender is here. Two days extravangaza, a double header even weekend Darts Classic and Darts Open will be held on 30th July and 31st July respectively. Headline sponser of this event will be the ‘Force Behind Darts’ WINMAU and the official telecast and broadcast partner is Shownights.com. Both the events will take place at Norbeck Castle Hotel in Blackpool, England.

The Shownights.Com brand is already classed as the UK’s best in exhibition darts alongside the world’s best darts manufacturer, this will be an amazing weekend not to be missed. Tickets for the event are priced from 25 Euro for single event and 40 Euro for combined tickets to both days. On both days event will comence at 9:00 according to England’s time and will end at around 23:00. There are three categories Mens, Womens and Disability. Top prize will be for Mens single, which is to be 25,000 Euro for the winner of both in Classic as well as Open tournament, Runner up gets 10,000 Euro and 5,000 Euro for each semi finalist.

This is the sixth of ten European tour events on the 2016 PDC Pro tour. There is no restriction for participation regarding nationality or age. 20 players selected thru UK qualifiers, 4 players selected from the home nation qualifier and 8 players from Europe qualifier take part in the first round of the event and top 16 ranked players from around the world directly make their way to the 2nd Round of the event.

World number one Michael Van Gerwen and number two Peter Wright are the ones to look out for as Michael Van Gerwen is himself the defending champion, whereas Peter Wright is the people’s favorite. WINMAU headline sponser of the event and one of the most famous brand of the darting world is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that this events is the one to watch for. Results of this tournament will greatly affect the world ranking of the players and their chances to make it to the World Championship.
