Just because Xiaomi is selling Segways and drones these days doesn’t mean it forgot what is started with years ago: Mobile Phones. The upcoming smartphone giant Xiaomi today announces its newest addition to the Redmi series called the Xiaomi Redmi PRO. As expected three variants of the smartphone were announced – one with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory and Helio X20 chipset which is priced at 1499 Yuan (RS. 15,110 approx), another with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal memory with Helio X25 chipset this one is priced at 1699 Yuan (Rs. 17,130 approx), while another has 4GB RAM with 128GB internal memory and Helio X25 chipset, which will cost you 1999 Yuan (Rs. 20,150 approx). The device will be available for sale in China from 6th August.
Xiaomi Redmi PRO is a hybrid dual SIM (Nano-SIM + Micro-SIM) based device which runs on Android Marshmallow based MIUI 8 OS and supports a 4050 mAh battery with fast charging technology. The device features a 5.5 inch full HD display with 2.5D OLED curved glass, it is powered by a deca core mediatek Helio X20 / Helio X25 processor. It has Mali-T880 CPU and 3GB/4GB RAM respectively.
The brushed metal body design makes it look really elegant and classy, the home button also supports a fingerprint sensor. Rear camera of the phone boasts a 13-megapixel autofocus with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera with samsung sensor. Connectivity options offered in the device include 4G with Vo LTE, 4.0 Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and USB type C. The device also comes with Proximity Sensor, Gyroscope, Accelerometer and Ambient Light Sensor.
Grey, Silver and Gold are the three colors offered in the Xiaomi Redmi PRO. No information regarding the release date in India is available right now. But we’re pretty sure its gonna land in India and other developing market soon as the current launch dates are exclusivley for chinese market only.
