Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime, also know as the “made in India” device of the smartphone giant Xiaomi, was launched today and made available via open sale at 12 PM IST on Xiaomi’s official website MI.com and also on Flipkart, the online retailer. This handset is available with a price tag of Rs. 8,999. Launched along with it’s junior counterpart the Xiaomi Redmi 3S, which will be priced at Rs. 6,999.
The Redmi 3S will go on sale a week later than the 3S Prime. The new Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime smartphone features a 5-inch HD IPS 720×1280 pixels resolution display and is powered by a 1.1GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Soc with Adreno 505 GPU, that is paired with 3GB of RAM. It is equipped with a 32GB Of internal storage, whereas the Redmi 3S comes with a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of Internal storage. both the devices can be Expandable later up to 128GB Via Micro SD card.
The Smartphone supports dual-SIM(Micro + Nano) with hybrid SIM slot which means the second slot also acts as a microSD slot and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Company’s MIUI 7.5 On the top. It sports a 13-megapixel rear Camera with a PDAF (phase detection autofocus), 1080p video recording, HDR mode, f/2.0 aperture, and LED flashlight. The device also sports a 5-megapixel secondary front Camera on board for best selfies, 1080p Video recording, and HD video calling. Where connectivity is concerned, the Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime offers 2G/3G, 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, GPS, bluetooth, WiFi, micro USB, along with a fingerprint sensor, which is placed just below the rear camera. The handset packs a punch with its huge 4100 mAh battery and measure 139.3×69.6×8.5mm.
